Background

This is another of the many quilt patterns and fabric kits purchased at Village Quilts in Lethbridge. Though not completed until 2017, it was purchased June 28, 2014 (day after Barbara's birthday).

The pattern is "Strip Lash" by GE Designs. This variation uses fabrics from the "Little Black Dress" collection from Moda Fabrics. It also required a special ruler ($27.50!) to make the necessary angle cuts.

Barbara started cutting March 27, 2016. She finished the top on September 5, 2016. For a number of reasons it took a bit of time before we got in to Catherine for professional quilting (not sure of dates). Quilting pattern is “Any Which Way.” Barbara finished the binding January 21, 2017. Finished size is roughly 80" by 80". I has pretty much been on the main bed ever since.
