Background

Barbara seldom buys a quilt kit — it's not like I don't buy enough of them. This is one of those exceptions. She fell in love with the fabric. So, she purchased 2 packages of Bali Pops Brown Sugar and the pattern from Catherine (The Quilted Garden).

The border, backing and binding fabrics were purchased separately from the Bali Pops fabrics, and at a later date.

Barbara started the top February 10, 2014. Finishing April 23, 2014. It went off to Catherine for professional quilting, then sat around a while, during which time Barbara completed Summer Slices, and the binding on a Disappearing Nine Patch (#3). She then did the binding on this one while I was off for a week visting mother, finishing the quilt on June 27th (her birthday).
