Zoe’s Quilt
Background
This "companion" quilt was made for Zoe, feline friend of Cynthia Howden. Barbara put it together at the same time she made the Disappearing 9 Patch (Blue) for Cynthia.
The Backing Fabric on Zoe's Quilt
A rather more startling backing fabric was used for Zoe's quilt. When you're the cat, you "kinda gets what ever's on-hand." The photo does show the "stitch in the ditch" quilting technique Barbara used to seal the quilt.
