Background

Barbara, while at The Quilted Garden one day, fell in love with the fabric used for the border of this quilt. So much so, that she and Catherine picked a set of coordinating fabrics all in blue. Tennessee Waltz was the design chosen (before the fabrics were selected). It is sized as a lap quilt.

The fabrics were purchased in September 2009. But, Barbara didn't start working on it until March 23, 2010. The top was completed in April 2010. It was then professionally quilted by Catherine, of The Quilted Garden, and picked up April 13, 2010. Barbara then finished the sewing on the binding.
