Squash BC Doubles Ranking (SHQ)

Again going back to VDL opening page.

Scroll down past the VDSL and LDL. Down past league organizers. And you will eventually see “Rankings”

It usually defaults to an abbreviated list.

View All will reveal the doubles rankings for the province.

Depending on the viewing dimensions of your browser, you will find a list of recent announcements, below the rankings, or higher up the page on the left (just below the individual league sections).

Ah, another thing Rick and Lynn can do as administrators.

Players Available for a League Match

Below "Latest News" there is a handy function where each player may indicate the dates they are available.

This feature disappeared for awhile and has now reappeared.

Date, venue, time are all shown. Home and away are not shown. Team on first (ie "A" or "B" team plays first) is only found on Rick's web site.

Three buttons to choose from to indicate your availability for the week in question.

Captains Selecting Team Line Up and Posting

There was a page where the captain could see who is available and make the selection of the four players and send an email to the team. That page vanished some time ago. Not sure if it been reintroduced; I haven’t stumbled upon it lately.

Another feature which was once there (and may be back) would post your team selection for the opposing captain to see and you, of course, could see their team selection — but only if the opposing captain posted the selection. That is a nice feature and hopefully we can make it a policy that captains post team selections before a match.

Please be patient while Squash BC, SHQ, and the doubles community build a better league. Like most applications it takes time and use to become comfortable with the layout.
